Young adults in China are taking serious measures to buy expensive apple products, according to reports. Biznewschina reported that a female jiulinghou, referring to those born during the 90’s, tweeted on Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter) that it is her “dream to own a iPhone4 but her father won’t let her get one.” She then decided to sleep with someone in exchange for the mobile device. Apple had its WWDC, Google had its Google I/O and Nokia just got through with its Nokia Connection 2011. Nokia has been going through quite a few ups and downs with declining market share, the new alliance with Microsoft and some recently released subpar cell phones. Yes we love our tech, and we love our movies as well. Often times the theme of some pretty decent Hollywood movies revolves around technology. How Hollywood chooses to twist it, is however totally up to them. You can have the super futuristic movies like Star Trek and then you can have somewhat believable movies like Swordfish both revolving around one or the other level of technology.

It was sad to see Japan go through all the recent devastation caused by the earthquakes and the tsunamis. Speculations were made that Japan had taken severe blows in every sector and that it would fall back on industrial production and tech development as well. Not largely to my surprise, I wasn’t able to think of too many recommendations for him right off the bat and told him [...]

Now I’m usually the kind of guy who just needs an excuse to own one more extra piece of tech, this however does not stand true for a lot of people. It just so happens, that my beloved Dad is one of those people, and he takes technology on a purely need to use basis. He does however just like a lot of people in Pakistan own two different SIMs.
One regular complaint of his however was, that [...]

When Google released its search engine back in the 90s, it was in the face of fierce competition from established competitors such as Yahoo and AltaVista. When Gmail was launched by Google, it was once again stacked up against strong odds. When Google released its web-browser “Chrome”, doubts were once again raised due to strong competitors. Well, the current situation clearly specifies that Google [...]

Not too long ago, all the hype in the world of Smartphones was about touchscreens, it then became a battle for the highest resolution primary camera, then came the duel for bigger and brighter displays and then competition amongst the major manufacturers took a turn towards achieving the highest processor clock speeds. What is interesting however is the fact that the end result of all these battles [...]
