If you’re in one of those countries with Governments that go overboard with their censorship or at work with condescending IT staff that doesn’t let you watch ‘certain’ sites. Facebook is banned in China while it was also banned in Pakistan for short period of time.Here’s some really useful cool tips to see all of those banned URLs.

• The most popular method is Anonymizer – that fetches the blocked page from their servers and displays it to you.
• Type the IP address instead of the URL in the browser – this won’t work if the system is blocking IPs as well.
• URL redirection service like tinyurl.com or snipurl.com – these work in some cases.
• Use Google Mobile Search. Google display the normal HTML pages as if you are viewing them on a mobile phone.
• Enter the URL in Google or Yahoo search and then visit the cached copy of the page.
• Or Use Anonymous Browsing Sites e.g NinjaCloak.com or Proxybrowsing.com
